Geely Auto Expands European Footprint with Official Market Launch in Switzerland
· European Momentum: Geely Auto continues its European expansion by entering the Swiss market in partnership with Emil Frey Group and GZ Automobile AG.
· Electrified Portfolio: The Geely Starray EM-i plug-in hybrid and the all-electric Geely E5 lead the initial rollout, followed by the compact Geely E2 and a flagship SUV later this year.

SAFENWIL, Switzerland, 16 September 2026 – Geely Auto has officially entered the Swiss market, marking another milestone in its European development strategy. In partnership with Emil Frey Group and its distributor GZ Automobile AG, Geely Auto brings an advanced lineup of electrified vehicles designed around intuitive technology, reliability, and five-star safety.

Strong Local Distribution
GZ Automobile AG, an established subsidiary of the Emil Frey Group, serves as the official importer and distributor for Geely Auto in Switzerland, leveraging its extensive retail expertise and infrastructure across the country.
Swiss customers are supported from day one by a nationwide network of 12 dedicated dealer locations, set to expand further in key regions. The launch lineup focuses on battery-electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) options.
Swiss Launch Lineup
Geely Auto debuts in Switzerland with two compact SUVs, with additional models arriving before the end of 2026:
· Geely Starray EM-i (C-SUV PHEV): Equipped with the 193 kW EM-i Super Hybrid system, delivering up to 136 km of pure-electric range and up to 1,055 km of combined WLTP range. Features up to 2,065 litres of cargo space and a five-star Euro NCAP rating.
· Geely E5 (C-SUV BEV): Built on Geely’s native GEA architecture, featuring a 160 kW electric motor, up to 450 km WLTP range, 135 kW DC fast charging, up to 1,877 litres of luggage volume, and a five-star Euro NCAP rating.
· Geely E2 (Urban Compact BEV): A 4.14-metre city car offering up to 345 km WLTP range, an 85 kW motor, 80 kW DC fast charging, a 14.6-inch touchscreen, a 540° camera, and a five-star Euro NCAP rating.
· Flagship PHEV SUV: A large plug-in hybrid SUV will complete the Swiss range later this year.
All Geely models in Switzerland include a comprehensive 8-year or 200,000-kilometre warranty, underscoring Geely Auto's commitment to vehicle reliability and long-term customer care.
