Geely EX5 Exceeds 210,000 Global Deliveries, Powering Geely Auto’s Worldwide Momentum

Hangzhou, China, 3rd November 2025 – Geely Auto announced that its next-generation all-electric SUV, the Geely EX5, had achieved a global sales milestone of 210,000 units by October 2025, just 15 months after its launch in August 2024. 

Geely EX5 is designed as the first pure electric SUV for young families globally, addressing the traditional compromises of compact EVs in design, space, intelligence, performance, and efficiency. Its 11-in-1 intelligent electric drive system and thermal management technology deliver a class-leading energy consumption of just 12.1 kWh per 100 km, offering both enjoyable driving dynamics and cost-efficient performance. Continuous OTA updates enhance personalization and convenience, ensuring the car evolves alongside its owners. 

Developed through Geely’s global R&D network and advanced technology systems, the Geely EX5 has rapidly gained momentum around the world since its overseas debut in the EVA Frankfurt Electric Vehicle Expo. The Geely EX5’s UK debut in October 2025 builds on impressive global momentum, with the model currently available in 33 countries across Europe, Asia, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Americas. 

The model has achieved remarkable success across diverse markets. Greece witnessed a similar performance in September 2025, with the EX5 securing top segment sales. Australia embraced the model with exceptional enthusiasm, achieving fast growth since it launched in March 2025. In Brazil, the EX5 dominated its segment with the number one sales position in 2 consecutive months after its official launch. 

Driven by the strong performance of the Geely EX5 and other popular models, Geely Brand’s NEV lineup has surpassed its annual sales target of one million units in October 2025, with cumulative sales reaching 1,002,461 units. This achievement highlights the close connection between the brand and its users, as the Geely EX5, Geely EX5 EM-i, and other models continue to earn global acclaim for their refined design, high-value performance, and strong momentum in the overseas market. 

Looking ahead, Geely EX5 will continue to expand into major European markets such as Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, while deepening its presence in emerging markets, including Uzbekistan, South Africa, and Colombia etc. Through ongoing product innovation and a high-value global strategy, Geely Auto aims to make smarter, greener, and more enjoyable mobility accessible to drivers worldwide.
